Our Story and Cause

Security education is good for everyone:

  • It’s good for executives and management who have to make daily decisions about security investments and priorities.
  • It’s good for employees, whose mistakes have led to years of daily data breaches that have collectively cost businesses billions of dollars.
  • It’s good for consumers, who are often the innocent victims of those data breaches.
  • And it’s good for students, preparing them for the workplace and exposing them to exciting careers in cybersecurity.

Privide is an innovator in security education and awareness and one of the early pioneers of employee security awareness. Our flagship security training solution is Think Security First!, a comprehensive security awareness platform that includes online training, testing, certification, and tracking for compliance.

Customize and brand it for your own organization, or use it to help your clients enforce and protect their Human Perimeter.

The Man With The Plan

Think Security First! was created by Neal O'Farrell, the leading People Security Expert who's been fighting cybercrime and identity theft around the world for nearly 35 years. Which might make him one of the most experienced personal security experts on the planet. Learn more about him.

The History of Think Security First

Think Security First was the rallying cry for one of the most ambitious security awareness programs ever. It started in 2003 when the city of Walnut Creek California (population 64,000) just across the bridge from San Francisco, decided it would become America’s very first Cyber Secure City and devote an entire year to raising security awareness for all residents, businesses, and schools in the city.

The initiative was created and led by Neal O’Farrell, and supported by Microsoft, AT&T, Cisco, McAfee, the Department of Homeland Security, the US Chamber of Commerce and many others. Read more about it.

Looking for Something Customized?
